Three in a Row: Our Time is Now

We’re not used to this. Three Premier League wins in a row? For United this season, it feels like a lifeline.

The season had been messy. Inconsistent results, doubters, a lot of pressure. And the club that I love looked more vulnerable than usual. But now? There’s momentum. The air feels different. The player’s faces look different. Amorim smiled.

The latest 4-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford meant a lot. It was the leap. 2 wins? Sure, might be luck. But 3 wins in a row? I’d call that momentum. I get excited before watching a United game. I’m eager to see what’s coming. That’s the difference.

Finally a goal from Matheus Cunha, Casemiro (I don’t care that it was deflected), and a double from Bryan Mbeumo. 4-2. The third win in a row. We can breathe.

Why this matters? Because three straight wins under a manager whose tenure has been under question sends a message. United are alive. United are fighting.

Let’s talk numbers. The 2024/25 season has been rough: if you look at league stats, United recorded only 11 wins in 38 matches. That’s not United standard. We know that. Everyone knows that.

So yes, these three wins matter more than they might look on paper. They mark a club with history suddenly remembering how to win again.

What We’re Seeing:

  • Momentum: These wins didn’t come by luck. They came by keeping control. That’s something we’ve been missing.
  • New linkage up front: Cunha finally scored his first for the club and the team pressed on. Mbeumo’s involvement? Big. This season’s signings hold so much worth.
  • Defensive resilience + attack strikes: Yes Brighton pulled two back. But United still closed it out. That’s a growth sign.
  • Old Trafford matters: Keeping that home ground strong, vital for every United season.

What It Means For The Journey

In the 2024/25 PL Journey, this is a turning point. Win one, we say okay. Two in a row, we breathe a little easier, might be luck. Three? We sit up and listen.

For us, it means hope. Hope that the bad spells don’t define us. That the club can still win the big ones, the tricky ones, the ones that matter.

We don’t believe everything’s fixed. We know the inconsistent past, the promises, the frustration. But this run is proof there’s life here.

One game at a time. One breath at a time. We’re Manchester United and we’re never gonna stop.
